oh the craving.

Like Lisa said,

I miss dancing.

I miss it so much I feel the ache to move my body the ache to hear the blast of music against my eardrums.

*sigh sigh sigh*

I miss the adrenaline coursing through my veins, the loud pumping of my heart.

I miss the satisfaction of completing a dance routine, the “syok-ness” of it.

I miss the oomph of each and every performance, the “omg-i-think-i-did-a-mistake” claims after every performance.

I miss the feeling of hair sticking to my sweaty neck, the heat radiating from my body.

I miss those turns and glides and ripples and jumps and twists.

*sigh*

I started learning when I was in form2.

Because I was bored and I wanted to try something new. The usual lo.

And never would it strike me that I would eventually fall so hard for it.

Yes I fell in love with it.

I am not sure when exactly.

Oh there was always the times when I was feeling inferior.

When I felt tears brimming my eyes.

Simply because I couldn’t catch up and the other girls were damn good.

Oh there was always times when I felt like quitting and giving up.

But then.

I am glad I didn’t.

I wouldn’t say I need it to breathe.

It’s more like a desire. A passion.

I need to dance!

Remember the performance for USJ4 prom?

Well, that was BAD news. Their prom was canceled last minute due to management imperfections.

Dang. There goes all of our effort, I thought.

But. Lisa got us to perform for the SMK SU prom in Sunway Hotel. Hehe.

Which is great.

Too bad the stupid fella I asked to record the dance didn’t do it at all. That stupid fella!

And their open dance floor was a blast. I actually felt like I was in a club or something at first. Lol. You know, the lights were flashing and the dance floor and stage was packed with people dancing.

But, towards the end, the music they chose was starting to get boring. So.. Didn’t have the enthusiasm to dance d.

Our dance crew didn’t pay for the prom (why should we, they should pay us right.) so we ended up having dinner in Magical Theatre, Sunway Pyramid. Yummy, but pricey.

Don’t ever go to the Themepark in Timesquare.

There’s absolutely no fun rides except for the roller coaster.

We paid 28bucks (supposed to be 35 but we got 20% off) and I assure you it was a complete waste of money.

Haha.

Yup, I went shopping with 3 friends in Timesquare.

All of us ate TomYam for lunch/dinner. Well we ate at 4pm. Hehe.

I’m exhausted.

“Gimme gimme more gimme more gimme gimme more” is stuck in my head. I hear it playing over and over again.

Lol.

Know why?

That’s what we’re dancing to for the performance! That and the way we are.

hehe.

Gosh. It has been so long since my last performance.

We have not been practising like mad since the USJ8 Leo thingy in Summit earlier this year. ;P

Yea, we always choreograph and practise last minute. We always dance every single night before the event to perfect it.

I missed the hustle bustle. The non-stop practices. The un-decisive-ness over our performance outfits.

OH YEA.

And not to mention the blue-blacks I NEVER FAIL to get on my freaking knees.

Lol.

They are very serious ok. I’m too tired to take pic now so I’ll take it when I have time tomorrow.

It’s ugly. How am I suppose to wear my dress when I go to the event?? With those bruised knees visible, it’ll look horrible.

Anyway, I enjoy the elation of dancing on stage. so it’ll be worth it.

Oh yea, the event’s USJ 4’s prom. It’s in Sheraton Hotel, so if you’re interested, call any USJ 4 form5ers.

PAWS is having a fundraising event at their place near Subang Airport.

In case you don’t know what PAWS is, it stands for Paws Animal Welfare Society.

Behind the wheels.

So today I had my first lesson!

I drove for the first time in my entire 17years of living. Lol. Jakoon.

Things that happened:

i) The engine didn’t die at all during the whole time I was driving. Proud giler. Haha. Not once ok! And I’ve never ever driven before ok! ;P

ii) Once, I lost my concentration because my mind started to wander after the nth time driving around the same circle over and over again. And I ~~almost~~ nearly drive into the bush. OK la, bush only ma, nothing big la right. Hehe. I hope I don’t lose concentration when i’m on the road though. If not I’ll end up banging things other than bushes.

Hehe. Tomorrow got 2 more hours of driving.

My muscles are sore.

Blame the clutch! Blame the steering! Blame the gears!

They were all so hard to manoeuver!

Oh and blame SPM for depriving me of my dance classes (which are like the only source of exercises I get. Hehe.) !

I went to dance class yesterday and Lisa and I had a helluva lot of dance steps to catch up on.

And it was A LOT!

But I’m happy to be back on the dance floor. ^^,

Hehe.

I finally appeared for dance class after missing 3 lessons consecutively. Blame Trials! It wasn’t my fault!

“Hi Yen Ping. Long time no see.” My teacher said. I could only reply with a sheepish smile. ;P

So, anyway, we were doing some robotic moves, which is hard for me! I just can’t seem to make my movements look like a robot! It feels off somehow.

And then there was this move, where we had to spin on the bloody floor. Teacher had us redo that particular step again and again, because we couldn’t grasp it yet. Actually, I haven’t grasp it til now. Hehe.

After the nth time, I felt a bit of a burning sensation on my left palm.
